AI Search Optimisation

Make your business easier to answer.

When customers ask Google or ChatGPT about your services, they may find incomplete answers or outdated business details. We start with one real customer question, check the available sources and agree with you what needs attention.

Where customers can get the wrong picture.

An incomplete answer can send a customer towards the wrong service or contact. We check the supporting facts with you before deciding what needs to change.

01

The service details are out of date.

Check whether the source describes the current offer and coverage.

02

A useful answer has no clear supporting page.

Identify which public page should explain the buying decision.

03

Business facts differ between sources.

Confirm the correct facts before changing pages or markup.

04

Each screenshot uses different conditions.

Keep the exact question, tool, mode, language, location context and date with each observation.

Make the question, source and next step agree.

The aim is a clear question, facts your team has approved and a next task with its limits recorded.

01

Keep comparable questions and conditions.

We keep the exact question, tool, mode, language, location context and date beside the answer. Device and signed-in state are noted where relevant and available, with any conditions we cannot hold constant.

02

Separate wrong facts from missing mentions.

Compare service and coverage statements with approved facts. Treat an incorrect location, a missing link and an absent mention as different observations.

03

Choose a supported next investigation.

For a confirmed coverage conflict, identify the cited source and the person who can correct it. If the cause is unclear, define the evidence needed before recommending an edit.

Follow one question from answer to source.

We follow a selected customer question from an observed answer to the public source and an agreed next task. Your team helps confirm the business facts and who can act on a supported finding.

  1. 02Agree the customer question.

We agree the exact buying question, relevant languages, location context and tools or modes to sample.

  2. 03Record wording and sources.

We keep the dated answer, the mode used and visible links. Missing answers or links stay recorded as missing.

  3. 04Investigate a coverage conflict.

If an answer gives a wrong service area, we compare its cited source with approved coverage. An absent brand mention alone does not establish a page fault.

  4. 05Agree the task and repeat check.

We identify who can approve and implement a source correction, and whether a repeat check is included. A repeat check describes that sample; it does not predict future visibility.

Agree the scope before changing pages.

Open each area to see a possible scope. We confirm the evidence and access needed, outputs, approvals, implementation responsibilities and limits with you before work starts.

01

Possible scope 1

Question and sampling conditions

Choose actual buying questions and agree tool, mode, language and location context.

See what this covers

A fixed sample gives the observations a comparable starting point.

  • Possible output: the agreed question list and sampling conditions.
02

Possible scope 2

Answer and source record

Keep the exact wording, dated answer and visible source links together.

See what this covers

Record absent answers or sources without inventing a result.

  • Possible output: a dated answer-and-source record.
03

Possible scope 3

Factual gap review

Compare coverage or service claims with facts the business has approved.

See what this covers

A missing mention alone does not identify a website defect.

  • Possible output: statements that conflict with approved facts.
04

Possible scope 4

Prioritised investigation list

Separate a confirmed factual error from a useful improvement or unresolved question.

See what this covers

Identify the relevant page and the evidence needed for the next check.

  • Possible output: a prioritised investigation list.

Keep the question, evidence and next step connected.

Each step connects a customer question with the evidence available and the next decision. We agree who does each part before work starts.

  1. 01

    Agree the customer question.

Identify the buying decision, relevant market and public facts before collecting observations.

  2. 02

Review the answer and its sources.

Record the conditions, check the sources and distinguish incorrect facts from answer variation.

  3. 03

Agree the next task and check.

Confirm who can approve the facts and implement a change. A follow-up observation cannot guarantee inclusion or outcomes.

Keep observations separate from outcomes.

The walkthrough shows what a useful record would contain. A later answer change does not prove that a page edit caused it.

Illustrative working example · Question and source review

One question, with context and limits

We agree a customer decision, collect dated answers and investigate supported factual gaps. For example, a cleaning enquiry may depend on whether a supplier serves the customer’s location.

Customer question

What should I check before choosing a supplier?

The customer needs clear scope, suitability and contact information before deciding which supplier to approach.

Open each step to see the proposed checks, evidence and possible next task.

01Agree a question worth checking

Customer question

We agree the question wording and add named-business or location questions where useful. We agree languages, location context and the tools or modes to sample.

02Keep the answer with its conditions

Evidence to collect

We save the exact question, tool, mode, date, language, available location context and visible links. We note device and signed-in state where relevant and available, plus conditions we cannot hold constant. Missing answers or links remain missing; this illustration contains no captured result.

03Turn a factual gap into a source task

Possible action

We trace a wrong fact to its source and compare it with owner-approved information. We agree who can correct that source, whether it is your website or a third-party page, and whether implementation or a repeat check is included. An absent brand mention alone does not establish a website fault.

01

Bring the business context.

Explain what your customer or buyer needs to decide and share the page or observation that concerns you.

02

Identify who can verify the facts.

Name the subject expert or business owner who can confirm coverage, specifications and scope.

03

Agree implementation and follow-up.

We agree whether the engagement supplies recommendations, edited pages or implementation, and whether a repeat check is included. For ongoing observations, see LLM Visibility Monitoring.

What can you bring to the work?

Questions about AI search work.

Short answers on what AI Search work can show, what it cannot, and who does what.

How does this relate to SEO?

Normal SEO fundamentals remain useful for Google AI features: accessible pages, clear content and accurate visible information. Our AI Search work adds a defined customer question, a review of the available sources and dated observations.

Can a provider guarantee a citation?

No. Google and ChatGPT decide which answers and sources to show. Improved source pages do not guarantee inclusion, citations, enquiries or sales.

Is special AI markup required?

No special AI files or schema are required for Google AI Overviews or AI Mode. Your page still needs to be indexed and eligible to show with a snippet, and your site must not be excluded through the Search Console generative AI setting. Inclusion is the default, and that setting does not control AI training. Accurate structured data can describe visible facts; it does not guarantee a citation.

How should observations be measured?

Keep the question, tool, mode, language, location context and date with each sampled answer. Google’s Generative AI performance report shows combined AI Overviews and AI Mode impressions by page, country, device and date when enough data is available. It counts impressions only; clicks from these features sit within your ordinary Search Console web search totals. The report does not show your sampled answer or cover ChatGPT and other AI tools. Keep impressions, sampled answers, enquiries and sales distinct.

Who implements the changes?

Agree this in the proposal. It should identify the deliverables, factual reviewer, implementation owner and follow-up responsibilities; recommendations alone do not change a page.

Is ongoing monitoring always needed?

No. A bounded question-and-source review may be enough to choose a next task. Agree repeat checks only when they support a business decision, with sampling limits and a review owner.

Which AI Search service should we start with?

Choose the work around the problem: an AI Visibility Audit for an unclear starting point, Content Optimisation for confirmed content gaps, Entity SEO and Schema for conflicting business details, and LLM Visibility Monitoring for repeat checks that support a decision. We agree a bounded first scope.

Can we start with one service or location?

Yes. A useful first scope can cover one customer decision and the pages behind it. We confirm the offer, location and responsibilities with you before deciding whether wider work is needed.

Does AI Search work replace our existing website content?

No. We start by reviewing your existing pages, keep useful material and identify confirmed gaps. Any Content Optimisation or page changes need an agreed scope; Google does not require rewriting content just for AI systems.

Should English and Bahasa Malaysia questions be reviewed separately?

Treat each language as a separate question set when it matters to customers. Keep the wording and language with each observation, and have someone competent in that language approve any revised page.
